Meet the Midwife
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to the sacredness of birth. I had the honor of witnessing the births of my three younger sisters.
Watching new life enter the world shaped me in ways I didn’t fully understand at the time. But looking back now, I can see how God was gently preparing my heart for this work long before I stepped into it professionally.
I grew up in Texas then moved to Dothan as a young teenager, and this community quickly became home. I graduated from Wicksburg High School right here in the Wiregrass, which makes it especially meaningful to now serve the families in the very place that helped shape who I am.
My birth work journey officially began as a doula in 2020. It didn’t take long for me to realize I had found where I was meant to be, and I began midwifery school in 2021. I graduated from the National College of Midwifery in October 2023 and obtained Alabama licensure in December of 2023.
Whether you are planning a home birth or desiring experienced support while birthing in the hospital, my goal is the same; to help you feel safe, informed, and deeply supported as you move through your own unique birth story. I believe every family deserves care that is intentional, unrushed, and rooted in trust.
Outside of birth work, I’m married to my high school sweetheart and together we’re raising four amazing kids. Family life keeps me grounded and reminds me daily why this work matters so much.
Being invited into such a meaningful season of life is a blessing and something I never take lightly. My prayer is that every family I serve feels safe, seen, and supported.
