Midwife Services

Comprehensive, relationship-centered care for families planning a safe, supported home birth. Care is individualized, unrushed, and focused on informed choice, evidence-based practice, and honoring the normal physiology of birth. My role is to walk alongside you, providing education, clinical skill, and calm guidance throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

  • Comprehensive maternal and fetal assessments

  • Lab work and routine screenings

  • Nutrition and lifestyle support

Labor & Birth Support

When active labor begins, I come to you. Supporting you in your home environment where you feel safe and comfortable.

  • Monitoring mother’s vital signs

  • Monitoring baby’s heart tones

  • Supporting physiological labor and birth

  • Immediate newborn assessment

  • Support with the first feeding if desired

  • Careful monitoring during the immediate postpartum period

Postpartum & Newborn Care

Care doesn’t end after birth. The early postpartum period is sacred and important, and ongoing support helps families transition with confidence.

Postpartum care includes:

  • In-home postpartum appointment for mother and baby 24-48 hours after birth

  • Cardiac Screen on baby

  • Maternal recovery assessment

  • Postpartum appointments for mother at 2 weeks and 6 weeks postpartum.

  • Emotional wellbeing check-ins

Midwifery care is for low-risk families who desire a home birth. If concerns or complications arise during pregnancy, I prioritize open communication and timely collaboration with hospital providers. My goal is always to help you make informed decisions while keeping the safety of both mother and baby at the center of care.

Limited availability to ensure each family receives attentive, personalized care, I accept a limited number of home birth clients each month. This allows me to provide unrushed prenatal visits, dedicated labor support, and nurturing postpartum care during the weeks following birth. If you are considering midwifery care, I encourage you to reach out early in your pregnancy to discuss availability.

4th Trimester Services

The weeks after birth are a time of profound transition. A new baby is learning to adjust to life outside the womb, and a mother is recovering physically while also stepping into a new rhythm of caring for her baby. This season is often filled with both beautiful moments and unexpected challenges. Sleep can be unpredictable, feeding may take time to establish, and many parents find themselves navigating questions they didn’t anticipate.

In many cultures around the world, the weeks after birth are treated as a sacred period of rest, healing, and support for the mother and baby. Yet in modern life, families are often expected to navigate this time with very little guidance.

Fourth trimester care is meant to change that by providing reassurance, practical support, and experienced guidance so families feel confident and cared for as they adjust to life with their newborn.

  • Newborn care education and reassurance

  • Light household help so you can rest and recover
